What is with the cheesy post titles?
I have finally transferred all the posts that I felt needed to be transferred. They are all searchable now, I know you are so thrilled about it! Now I need to actually do what I am supposed to do: blog! Now what the heck am I going to write about? I haven’t even been to too many of the big blogs lately to see what is going on in the world. I should get to that.
One good thing to share: I have a (very) part-time job (that will turn full time when kids get out of school) doing teaching/tutoring up in Bellevue (nice commute, eh?). It is a new company that seems like it will be fun to work with. If you have middle school / high school kids who want tutoring in Bellevue, you can check out Park Education Center.

Hello everyone. I am approaching my second year of blogging and I figure I would start things off with a new domain and some new, more powerful blogging software. I downloaded WordPress as it has many great options and a very user friendly interface. I have definitely had to learn how to manipulate code as I go, so any feedback as far as design, structure, ease of read, etc. would be appreciated!
I started my first blog over with ModBlog at mattithyahu.modblog.com [No longer available]. You can see many of my back posts in my ModBlog archive [Not any more]. [UPDATE: now all posts can be found in my MattJonesBlog Archive.]
I also fairly recently set up my first stand alone blog over at jonesverbiage.com [No longer exists] but didn’t really like the domain and was looking for some software that was a little more powerful, but SourceForge’s “Simple PHP Blog” was a great introduction to blogging software. Stop by for my more recent entries.
So now I am here at the new domain and ready to see where it takes me. Feel free to comment and join the “conversation”.
