Regent College – Writing the Next Chapter

November 2nd, 2005 No comments

Today was Regent College‘s groundbreaking ceremony for the remodel and new library. The campaign, called Writing the Next Chapter, has raised nearly $12 million of the $14.5 million goal.

The new 28,500 square foot library will be housed beneath the park at the north end of the property. The architect, who designed the existing Regent building, is very good at combining aesthetics with functionality. Check out the plans for the new library as well as images of the park. Additional images of the project can be found at the media gallery. You can also view the progress via live webcam!

Here are a few images that I took at today’s groundbreaking ceremony.
