I am starting to hate Bellingham…

Or “Bellingham is out to get me.”
Or “How to get your stuff stolen.”
Or “God is telling me I should have moved back to Seattle.”
Or “Remember that 6 months I had an iPod?”

Or… Well, you get the idea. Today I took a walk down town to the post office and to pay rent then over to the aquatic center for a nice leisurely swim. You know how some places require to give them your ID when you rent a lock, well never complain about that. Sometime during my swim someone managed to remove my lock and take all my stuff except for my glasses (why they left those, but took my underwear and shoes, I have no idea). Now get this, there are TONS of lockers that don’t even have locks on them, yet they still went for my stuff. What I figure is that they (whoever “they” are) saw me with my iPod and just really wanted it. So, fine, but did they need to take my shoes? Or my towel? Or my keys (luckilly my car keys were at home)? Or my phone?

I spent the rest of the day doing all the things you have to do when your wallet is stolen (or purse as the case may be). I had to buy a new phone (which I don’t have money for). Had to pretend to think about getting a new iPod (haha, right, like I have money for that!). Cancelled my cards. Luckilly, in a bit of irony, my driver’s license was perfectly safe behind the desk being used to hold the lock that was cut off my locker. Nice. So to summarize: DVDs and change stolen out of my apartment last week (I got a dowel to make sure that window stays locked), lots of crap stolen today. Good times in Bellingham.

Yes, I know I still have not posted pictures from the beach yet. I will get to it, I promise.

Uggggh, I’m sorry, that sucks so bad, Matt. I really sympathize… in addition to the incidents I’ve mentioned in my blog about my car recently, we’ve had a number of neighbors get their stuff stolen or broken into as well. It just totally makes you want to move, doesn’t it??

Bellingham is a wound in the earth. Which is what some people say about Spokane. Any which way, that really sucks homie. It sucks when it pours when it rains. You’re in my prayers,

Taking the towel makes sense. Everyone needs a towel.

So, the trifecta of theft is in play. What’s next?

Thanks for your support everyone :) “Bellingham is a wound in the earth.” Heh, that is classic Jae. Going for the trifecta, haha, that is SO something I would say!

Now the question is… who are you pissing off?

I’m sorry Matt. I asked Greg tonight if you were okay. Haha, he didnt know what I was talking about, but I hope you’re doing okay… and now he’s probably wondering if you are okay too. Sorry!

I do need to find out who I am pissing off! Seriously! Luckilly, there has been no trifecta yet. ;)

Haha, yeah, I haven’t talked to Greg about all this. I think just Dan knew about it. But I get to hang with Greg on Saturday, so that’s cool. :)
