Lonely Forest at the Crocodile Cafe II
I have been up and down I-5 once again this weekend. From midnight bocce ball at Cal Anderson Park to a UCF board meeting to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (I really enjoyed it, even if they leave you hanging: you had to see that coming, right?) to seeing The Lonely Forest at the Crocodile Cafe. (For other info, music, and show pics and video clips, see my Lonely Forest blog page.) Images (which are clickable for larger versions) and video clips are below, enjoy! If you haven’t heard The Lonely Forest before, check their stuff out, watch a video clip or two (or three or…) and support this talented group! The photo set can also be viewed at Flickr: Lonely Forest at the Crocodile II (the original sizes are there as well).

The Lonely Forest Rockin the Crocodile: John Van Deusen (keys), Braydn Krueger (drums), Tony Ruland (electric guitar), and Eric Sturgeon (Bass).

The Crocodile is a great venue that gets you right close to the stage with great sound quality and volume.

Tony Ruland and John Van Deusen making their crazy sounds.

Think John enjoys what he does?
I got some pretty good video clips (as for as digital camera clips go). Check out how these guys can rock! [NOTE: LARGE file sizes]:

I believe the song is called “Tea of the Scientist, Coffee of the Priest” or something like that.
It was a good show, as expected.
