Since my sister introduced me to the Bellingham band Late Tuesday, I have been a big fan of their sound; with their lyrics and harmonies, it is hard not to be. Sadly, on September 29th, Late Tuesday has decided “to break for an indefinite amount of time”. But they will still be playing shows until January or so and their music should still be checked out! Dana Little, Tara Ward, and Jocelyn Meyer (formerly Feil) have a found a sound that is able to bring each of their talents to the fore. With the edition of guitar, keys, and rhodes to their voices, you have a combination that should win over anyone. Since I was introduced I have been to a number of their shows so I thought it would be convenient to make a jump-off page so as to make it easy to find the various Late Tuesday posts I have made. And see the bottom of this page for a few pictures of the ladies.
Also, check out my Late Tuesday Lyrics page for words to all your favorite Late Tuesday songs!

• Permalink: Late TuesdayWow! I just discovered Late Tuesday through last years Christmas in the Northwest CD. I love their song This Holiday! Thank you for your wonderful website! It is one of the better blogs I have found. The lyrics and pictures are great. Any idea who the children are that sing with Late Tuesday? I am sorry to hear the band is “taking a break” – especially since I just discovered them!
Hi Mary, glad you enjoy my blog!
The Children’s Choir was: Morgan Loy, Hannah Loy, Sydney Loy, and Kishia Gale. I believe they are kids from families in their church… but not positive about that.
It’s too bad you don’t ahve any of their “Looking For Flowers Again” CD up here yet. One of my favorites. “103 and other things” is one of my personal favorites, a bit sad, but so hauntingly beautiful,
Yeah, I was introduced to LT after their first two CDs had already been out for a while so never did a post on them. I suppose I always could though, they are wonderful albums. “103 and other things” is also a favorite of mine.
I randomly fell on your blog and was curious to LT’s style and sound. You got me hooked already!!! thanks for sharing. I will now NOT work for the next hour or so to listen and watch……. Nice distraction.
Haha, well as far as distractions go, they are very worth while. Glad you are enjoying them!
Matt,
what the girls said in the final part of “To Not Be Let Down”?, the words was like Kyrie Eleison, or some Christian Song…
Hi Alex, the end of the song is the beginning to the Greater Doxology (which originated in the Greek from Luke 2:14) in Latin:
Glória in excélsis Deo
et in terra pax homínibus
Glory to God in the highest
and on Earth, peace to men
Thanks!!
Matt, have you a live version of Flowers Or Honesty?
Which live songs that you have?
ps:sorry my English.

[...] Last night Late Tuesday released their new CD Drowning out Love at Western Washington University’s Viking Union. Sadly the two pictures above are the only ones worthy of posting (and even those didn’t turn out very well, but still clickable for larger versions). I wasn’t really in a picture taking mode and I wasn’t in the best position to take pictures either, so there ya have it. I have taken many pictures from their previous shows that can be found by doing a checking out my Late Tuesday page (with links to pictures, video clips, music, and lyrics). [...]
