Galiano Island Photographs
Regent College Community Group - March 11-13, 2005
A small group, myself included, spent a very relaxing weekend out at Galiano Island, one of the Gulf Islands off of Vancouver Island. It was a gorgeous weekend that felt like early summer, not late winter. The sights were gorgeous and the company was quite enjoyable.
A group of Regent professors purchased a farm and built cabins that lined the rocky sea-shore of the Island. We were able to stay the weekend at Gordon Fee's lovely (and quite large) cabin that looks south-west onto the Strait of Georgia.
We took an evening ferry and first tried to (accidentally) break into J.I. Packer's place, oops.
The weekend was filled with relaxing, reading, eating, resting, climbing around on rocks, hiking, and, of course, taking pictures. Some pictures were taken with my Olympus C-5060 and others were taken with my Step-dad's Nikon CoolPix 2100. All pictures are clickable to bring up a larger image (1024x768).
This page has many pictures and will take a while to load, I apologize!

A night shot from the cabin.
The Hike:

Notice the eagle soaring in the sky.

Don't try and figure it out...
The Climbers:

This tiny frog was hunkered down between the rock in the wall so the climb
was named after it.

Top looking down.
