Money Woes

Living on student loans has been extremely difficult and I am seeing how much more difficult this term might be.  I might even have to drop another class beacuse of it.  Please be praying for me and my financial situation as I have never been very good with money and this will definitely force me to figure things out.  Luckilly my rent is payed up through end of term, but still having bills and having to eat will still make things difficult.  Prayers are greatly appreciated and all those millionare readers of my blog, the donation button is on the right. ;)

Cheers,
Matt Jones

    Matt,

I know how you feel. Even with grants, I had loans and part time job to pay for school.

May have a solution for you. check out my blog: http://myauto-surfing.blogspot.com/ and see what I am doing to get things on track financially.

    Stay strong.

Top Ramen is key. Easy to make and 4 or sometimes 5 for a $1! Well, the kids like it anyway.

Thanks David, I appreciate the encouragement! I wish there were more millionare bloggers! :)

Top Ramen is key! Although I remember in Search and Rescue some of the people ate it raw, now that was gross! My firnd Jae and I frequenly had rice and fish-sticks: ghetto-licious!

Remember that time we had raw rice and uncooked fish-sticks?

Ha, thank God that never happened! Anyhow bro, as long as you don’t resort to eBay XBox 360 extortion, I trust that the good hand of God will meet your needs. I’m a little anxious about $$ and future schooling myself, but my only rest is in remembering that we got a good heavenly Pappy. I can’t imagine how much broker I’d be without Him. ;)

Hey Matt! Came across your site via blog explosion. I don’t want to clog up your comment inbox, but I listed a suggestion over on my site. You may find it useful.

Oh my gosh - I ate so much Top Ramen in my early 20s that I only just this year can eat them again without feeling sick. And I’m 37. Back then you could get them 12/$1 and there were only four flavors - beef, chicken, mushroom and spicy. We’d combine them various ways to have a change.

My daughter, 15, thinks they’re a big treat. Go figure.

“my only rest is in remembering that we got a good heavenly Pappy. I can’t imagine how much broker I’d be without Him.” Amen to that brother. In perspective, I have things pretty damn good. I have food to eat, books to read, and a roof over my head, and that is just the beginning!

Thanks for the suggestion Darnell, I have thought about making Adsense more prominent, and I will still be trying to mess around with it, but I don’t blog to make money (and I don’t think I would really make much even if I did) so I’ll just see how it goes. I do think it is pretty funny that the ads that I do have a literally in the worst place for ads. Heh.

Haha, ramen is something I have tried to shy away from as I have “matured”. Haha, right, like I could pull that off! Now, 5/$1 is right up my alley! If I like to be really fancy, I add some brocolli.
