Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise

Posted by Matt Jones on Friday, August 4, 2006.

This is for all you Star Trek nerds out there: The Picard Song! It had me totally cracking up (because I am a nerd too). (Via Not So Fast)

(If the embed doesn’t work for you, head over and view it at YouTube)

Is it sad that I can watch this over and over?

That was funny and great…the beat was quite funky as well :)

  2. Jen Said:

Haha, that’s great.. Captain Picard is one of my favorites.

That was great. I remembered all those episodes but one (the one where he had the hat and was dancing on the bridge.) You know, I think I’ll fix the links and restore my old LCARS desktop, just for kicks. :-)

  4. Matt Jones Said:

I think the dancing on the bridge thing was for an awards show type thing… anyway, the full clip of that can be found here.

A LCARS desktop would be awesome!!

  5. Laura Said:

Just take an LCARS wallpaper, photoshop it as needed, and make an HTML page using whatever editor you like. You can slice it in your graphic editor, or image map it, as long as your output is html. Add as many web links as you like, and to launch programs, make your links like this: file:///c:/Program%20Files%5CMozilla%20Firefox%5Cfirefox.exe

Just goto Display Properties > Desktop > browse to your html file.
