This is kind of cheat-blogging, but it is my prerogative. I am essentially reposting A Beautiful Sight from back in January of 2005 (actually the original post is here at my old ModBlog blog). I came across these pictures that I took of Mount Rainier and wanted to share them again. I have also posted a few more of them as a Flickr set: Mount Rainier, so feel free to check those out as well. Images are clickable for larger, of course.
This is a series of three images that I tried different focus planes. What do you think?

I think that the second one looks best, although only in the larger version, smaller the third one looks best.

Kirstin, were you rooting for the Padres? Expecting them to take it all? And chicken is good. I like it.
Thanks Becky, you definitely need to get over there sometime. It isn’t as far as it seems! There are lots of places to visit.
