The Late Late Tuesday

This was a sad weekend for the Bellingham music community (and the music community at large): Late Tuesday has decided to break up with us. This makes it much more difficult for me to get a date with Dana… ;) (I know, I know; let it go…) The following quotes are from their September 29th newsletter.

After 6-and-a-half fun (really fun) years, 4 full length albums and a Christmas EP, we have made the decision to break for an indefinite amount of time. To be specific, this will happen towards the end of 2006.

Fortunately for music lovers, there will still be opportunities to catch them live and then of course there is always the reunion tour to look forward to!

We promise to have end-of-the-year show options posted soon. Good shows are popping up all over the place for November and December. Our website will continue to function and be updated with all the latest news as to what each of us (individually) is up to in the wonderful world of music.

Along with their website, also check their MySpace page for updates and show information. For all the fans that are saddened by the news, visit my Late Tuesday page for pictures, music, lyrics, and videos and be cheered up! Also, Tara Ward has a solo MySpace Page and so does Dana Little.

On a more serious note, I hope for the best for Jocelyn, Tara, and Dana and look forward to hearing more solo stuff as they branch out on their own. Blessings and Godspeed.

Thank you all for being a part of our lives! We wouldn’t change these past 6-and-a-half years for anything!

This makes me sad… I’ll try to go see a show before they break. Yes, that would be cool.

Hey Becky, if you are free, you should grab some friends and go see Dana play in Ballard on Thursday. She will be singing with Gabe Archer of the Pale (who is awesome!) so it should be a cool show (and only costs $5). It is at Conor Byrne Pub at starts at 9:00pm. Not quite the same as the trio, but Dana has a beautiful voice by herself as well.

Just finished my ninth week of teaching and things are going extremely well!! How is time passing so quickly?

I got rid of the shoutbox (for now) because it wasn't working right. Hopefully I will get that fixed soon. You may have noticed that I have been changing things around a bit. Hopefully this theme looks good and works well. If you notice any bugs or things that need to be fixed or just look better, just let me know (or leave a comment)! The header images (there are 34 in rotation right now!) are pictures that I have taken over the last few years.
