The Pope’s Funeral

Pope John Paul III am not Catholic, but I felt it important to commune with my brothers and sisters in Christ by watching the funeral Mass for Pope John Paul II. It is Friday approaching one in the afternoon (4.8.2005) now in Rome and the service is ending. It was quite a moving service in a variety of languages. It was great to see political as well as religious leaders from all around the world at the service. I pray that the Catholic Church will be able to carry on in a meaningful way and the next Pope will be as influential and “popular” as John Paul II was.

Shalom

I will post some crappy pictures I took off the tv when I wake up.
