Boone Picked Up
Ex-Seattle Mariner Bret Boone was traded this morning (just minutes before the deadlione) to the Minnesota Twins. I wish Boone all the best. He and the Twins will be in Seattle from August 8th through the 10th so, if you are able, head out to show him support! Boone was quoted as saying that Minnesota was his first choice so I hope he will fit in and add some support to their lacking infield. Good luck Boone (try bringing the ego down a bit there, okay?)!!
