Lonely Forest at Pickford Dreamspace

The Lonely Forest Rocking Out

John Van Deusen on the keys.

Last night I didn’t have to travel far to see one of my favorite bands play. The Lonely Forest visited The Pickford Dreamspace in good ol’ Bellingham. Seriously, every time I see these guys I am blown away by their talent. If you have never heard them, really, go listen to some of their stuff at their website. That being said, one show that you cannot miss will be their performance at Bumbershoot, Seattle’s arts and music festival. They will be playing on Saturday, September 2nd at EMP’s Sky Church at 12:15pm. An all day pass (so you can see all the music that day) is $25 and can be purchased here (or at Ticketmaster). I really hope to see you there. They will be releasing their new EP there which promises to be amazing.

Now that you have promised to come see them at Bumbershoot, on with the pictures and video clips! All are clickable for larger versions. If you would prefer it, you can also view the pics at my Flickr Set: Lonely Forest @ The Pickford Dreamspace. Please stop by my Lonely Forest page for pictures from other shows, music, and video clips.

Great band, I love piano driven music. So much good music comes out of the Seattle area..

Glad you liked their stuff. They have shows in Portland sometimes so you will have to be on the look out when you move there!

The Seattle area has always been a fun area for music, I have really appreciated it.

Haha, anyone know French and care to translate?

I am guessing something along the lines of “Thanks for your recommendation. They … (something about your podcast?)”
