Christmas Shopping

Yes, I have been busy (go figure) but I wanted to make a quick post because, well Christmas in in a few days. How in the heck did that happen? I know that everyone always links to Amazon which is cool and all, but us folks in Washington State have to pay sales tax!! So since about 1998 I have been shopping at (why aren’t they paying me to advertise?) and so you should too! They usually beat Amazon’s prices (actually will beat the book prices by 10%) and have great selection. Thought I would let all you WA folks know, but really, even if you don’t live in Washington, you should shop there.

And also check out because they have lots of coupons (from numerous vendors). Here are some coupons to check out. 10 days left! Hurry up! Ok, if you don’t believe me that is better (which it is), here are some Amazon coupons to use. And in case you want to use any of those coupons on me, here is my Amazon wishlist (although they can still be purchased at!). Much obliged. ;)

Ok, enough advertising for one day! heh

That’s why you should come to Oregon to do your shopping.

You, of course, still pay the use taxes on internet purchases when doing your state taxes.

Its true Jen! Luckily now that my family lives down near the border it is pretty easy to go down to Portland to shop… although online prices are still hard to match in store.

See Kristin, the Joy of living in WA is that we don’t have a state tax. :)

Very true. That’s why I’ve been slightly addicted to Amazon for a few years. But maybe I’ll have to check out now..

Haha, oh thanks for your support Kristin! You didn’t have to live in Idaho! You do realize that Washington is like 5 miles away, right?

Jen, I am willing to bet that will win your heart! And you will have a new addiction! ;)
